Milestone Sessions - the special moments of your childs growth
Milestone sessions are designed to capture the essence of your child's growth, celebrating each unique stage with heartfelt, professional photography. Whether it’s a first birthday, a significant achievement, or just capturing your child’s personality at different ages, these sessions provide beautiful, lasting memories. My carefully created milestone sessions have been designed to remain timeless and forever loved, they stay in line with me photography style. I do not create character themed (eg Mickey Mouse etc) sessions.
Your Session
We'll start by capturing some genuine smiles and candid moments, and if you wish, we can include a couple of family images too. Then, it's time to change the birthday girl/boy into something more suitable for the 'birthday' images and capture some great fun moments! Smashing a cake totally optional, some parents like to do this and others don't, the session will be tailored to suit your needs. Afterward, we'll dive into some bubbly bath portraits, a fun and adorable way to clean up after all the excitement! While little giggles are not always guaranteed, every reaction is priceless, making for a gallery full of cherished memories.
Booking Information
To ensure each family receives the best experience, I only book a limited number of sessions per month. This allows me to provide personalised attention and create a unique set up for your childs first birthday. If you'd like your images ready in time for the birthday date, please reach out well in advance to check availability. Editing typically takes 3-4 weeks, ensuring your memories are beautifully preserved and ready to be shared with loved ones. For this reason it is best to book your Milestone Session in advance of your childs birthday.
Location
Milestone sessions are held in my beautiful petite studio in Castlepollard, just outside Mullingar, Co. Westmeath. Alternatively, if you prefer they can be held outdoors or even done in your own home. I cover Westmeath, Meath, Longford, Cavan, Offaly, and Kildare.
1.Consultation
- Brief, friendly phone call or email consultation. This helps me get to know you a little better and ensures your session meets your needs perfectly.
- A non-refundable booking fee of €150 is required at the time of booking to secure your date. This will then be taken off your package price.
- A travel fee does apply for location sessions, this will depend on the location distance.
2.Session Prep
- We will decide on the type of session you would like, studio, in home or outdoors and chat about the unique birthday set up.
- Upon booking, you'll receive my detailed session prep guide and information about my carefully created client closet, which is available for your child and also dresses for mothers to use if you wish. This can take the stress out of deciding 'what to wear'.
3.The Session
- Session typically lasts 1 - 1.5 hours.
- I'll create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and confident.
4.After the Session / Gallery Reveal
- Around three weeks after your session, you will be invited back to the studio for your beautiful gallery reveal.
- During this appointment, you will be shown an emotional slideshow of your images and will have the time to select your favourite images for your package. It's a lovely experience for parents that often fills them with tears of happiness and love.

What's Included
The Milestone package investment is €650 and includes a bespoke 1/1.5 hour unrushed memorable experience, specially designed for you. Ten 8x10 Beautiful Fine Art Mounted Prints. An emotional Gallery Reveal appointment to select your images. Your booking fee of €150 will be deducted from this.
Upgrade
You do have the option to upgrade from the set package to albums and wall frames if you wish.
