My Approach
Long before I became a mother, I was always very natural and comfortable around babies. I know it might sound silly but I've always known I was born to be a mother, so when I photograph expecting mothers and newborns I feel so at ease, it completely fills my heart and I feel so honoured to be a small part of this gorgeous time for you.
When you bring your baby to me, I’m not thinking about a perfect photo, I’m thinking about them feeling safe, and you feeling okay.
I work slowly, I follow your baby’s lead, and I don’t rush you through anything. Parents and siblings are always part of the session, because this stage isn’t just about your baby, it’s about your family finding its feet together.
Caring for You
From the moment you reach out, my priority is to make you feel supported and comfortable. I offer a handpicked selection of beautiful dresses for mothers, providing you with confidence and comfort during your session. Along with the sofest most delicate knits for your new little baby to wear.
Guiding you through styling choices for the whole family, I aim to create a stress-free experience where you can simply relax and savour the magic of this precious time. Once we have done the parent/family images, you can sit back and relax and take a much needed break, enjoy a coffee as I take over with baby and document all the little details of your new little love.

Those first days with your baby are like nothing else. Everything feels new, tender, a bit overwhelming and completely wrapped in love.
As a mam myself, I know how quickly it all passes, even when the days feel long.
The way they curl up on your chest (my favourite memory with my babies), the soft sounds they make, how tiny they feel in your arms. You think you’ll remember it all, but it changes so fast and we do forget.
That’s why I do this.
My newborn sessions are calm, quiet, and baby-led. You don’t need to do a thing. Just come in, take a breath, and let me take care of it all. From settling baby to gently capturing all those little details that make them them.
And while I’m doing that, you get to rest. Even if it’s just with a hot coffee and ten quiet minutes to yourself.
Because this isn’t just about the photos. It’s about giving you a moment to slow down and soak it all in.

FAQ
When should I book my newborn session?
As I only book a limited number of sessions per month so that I can be flexible with baby arrival dates it is best to book whilst you are still pregnant.
How do I book a newborn session not knowing when baby will arrive?
One of the only things in life you cannot predict! Don't worry, I provisionally book you in for your due date, as I only work on a selective number of newborns per month to guarantee every client receives the very best experience. Once your baby arrives I ask you to contact me within the first few days and we can dicuss then when you would like to do your session.
Am I too late to book after I've had my baby?
Not at all, just get in touch and I will do my very best to offer you a session date, however there may be a few weeks wait time.
Does my newborn need to be under 2 weeks old?
No. My carefully created emotive style means that I focus on baby and the love and connection within your family. I do not need baby to be under a certain age because I dont use props or need baby to be alseep. I am much more focused on Mum feeling well and ready to do the session. This will be different for each family so I will discuss this with you after your baby is born and we will pick a date that is suitable.
What will I wear?
You dont need to worry! I provide a beautiful collection of dresses for Mums to use, these are all flattering on new mums and breastfeeding friendly.
You also dont need to worry about your newborn. I have a selection of delicate soft knits for your new little love to wear.
I will also provide you with a full stying guide and over advise on dressing the rest of your family for your session. Making it all a very effortless experience for you.
Where does the session take place?
Newborn Sessions are held in my beautiful petite studio just outside Mullingar in Co. Westmeath. They can also be held in your own home if you prefer.
During summer months, weather depending, they can be held outside if you like.
